So if you are an avid listener of our podcast and listened to the very end (or if you just happened to notice my oversight of leaving the countdown up on the website the past couple of days), then you no doubt already knew about our very special announcement!

We are pleased to announce that we will be putting on our second annual MHQthon, Friday, July 13 2012, at 8:00pm CDT! This year will be different from last year. We will not be playing for a set 101 straight hours (or 106, for that matter), nor will we be playing to get 100% of scans and items on the hardest difficulty setting. The "theme" of this marathon is that we will be, perhaps not going as far as speed-running, but instead, going-though-the-game-as-fast-as-you-can-running. Different players may choose to get 100% items or scans, or play it on whatever difficulty setting they choose, but nothing it required or set in stone. We should be having more people involved in the marathon this year, including a couple of MHQ forum members!

This year, as with last year, we will be collecting donations for the Child's Play charity. They are a fantastic organization that helps children in hospitals or are otherwise incapacitated have the childhood they deserve who would otherwise not have the opportunity. Be sure to check in right here on MHQ's home page for the marathon when the time comes. Everyone involved is excited to be doing this, and we look forward to putting on a great marathon for you all that will somehow surpass last years!

Nice! I'll be sure to watch from the beginning, hopefully you guys get a cool unexpected guest like that developer last year
