Wii U Launch Dates and Prices and Metroid Blast!

With the recent Nintendo Directs we've gotten fresh news on both the Wii U and Metroid blast! Firstly, the Wii U will launch the 18th of November in the US, the 30th of November in Europe and the 8th of December in Japan. All of the regions will have a normal edition available and a premium edition. Nintendo Gamer has also put out an article including 30 Trailers for the Wii U! Apparently we'll be getting around 50 games at launch as well! You can check out that list of trailers here.

As for Metroid Blast, we've gotten a big video showing off and explaning what the game is! In addition to the video below you can watch this video on gameinformer!

We can now confirm charge shots, long-range grapple beam, Lower Norfair/Magmoor Caverns music, morphball, first person mode, shooting while hanging from the ship in grapple beam, radar, Zebesians, and dodging. This is all in "Assualt Mission Mode", and eight missions in isn't even halfway through! There can be 1-4 players on the mode as well. Two kinds of other modes will be available, Ground vs. Air mode and Ground-only mode, both multiplayer as well.

There is one more video with Metroid Blast footage, which is the Nintendo Land Trailer that can be seen here. In this video you can clearly see that there'll be a battle with some kind of mechanical Ridley! We've updated our facebook page with pictures from the videos as well! Are you excited? We sure are, this really looks like it feels like a whole game on its own!
